Meet Dr. Buffong
Dr. Buffong is the proud owner of RJ Dental Teaneck and Roselle and a highly skilled dentist dedicated to providing gentle and effective care to patients of all dental backgrounds and ages.
RJ Dental was established in 2005 with a mission statement: "Treating your Oral Health in Relation to your Overall Health." I want my patients to understand the CONNECTION between their Oral Health and their Overall Health. A disease mouth including multiple missing teeth, misaligned teeth have been shown to lead or contribute to Heart disease, diabetes, improper digestion of food just to name a few.
Dr. Buffong has always emphasized the importance of creating a dental practice that stresses relaxation, comfort and integrity. "Most important to me is my patients' understanding and education about the dental procedures that they are undergoing. I believe that an educated patient will make the correct decision about their dental health whether its implants, crown and bridge or Invisalign treatment.
Dr. Buffong is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), a member of the Bergen County Dental Association, The Bergen County Implant Study Club, The New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA) and a founding member of North East Regional Dental Society (NERDS).
Dr. Buffong is continually expanding his knowledge of advances in dentistry with seminars held locally and throughout the world including his most recent Implant Global Conference held in the French Riviera, France, International Congress on Implantology in Las Vegas, where he qualified for his Fellowship in Implantology. Dr. Buffong has found a niche in preforming full mouth reconstructions and applying cosmetic dentistry to each procedure. Dr.Buffong is an Invisalign Preferred Provider and has successfully performed many difficult Invisalign cases. Dr. Buffong also places implants for missing areas and for implant supported dentures.
Married for over 13 years to Dr. Jeannine Stephenson who is also a dentist, they have an 11 years old daughter, Alexis who is the apple of their eyes and heart.
In my free time I enjoy Reading, Golfing and Running.
Dr. Buffong and RJ Dental has constantly supported and participated in the "GIVE Kids A SMILE" dental program as well as the MARCH Of Dimes Walk in Bergen county.
RJ Dental and Dr. Buffong has also conducted numerous dental screenings / Oral hygiene demonstrations and dental education in numerous Schools, Churches and Community sponsored events for many years, including international missionary trips: Jamaica, St Vincent & Grenadines with Health Care International.
I was born on the small nature island of Dominica in the Caribbean, where I believe that when you are fortunate and bless, it is import to give back to the communities that have supported you and to the less fortunate in underserved areas.

She continues to expand her knowledge by attending countless continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Essex County Dental Society. She is also Implant, Invisalign, Laser, Botox and Facial Filler certified. Meet Dr. Ghobadi
Dr. Ghobadi graduated from UMDNJ-Dental School and completed his postgraduate Oral Surgery residency at St Joseph Regional Medical Center. In 2004, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery awarded Dr. Ghobadi the Dental Implant Student Award and, earned the Pre-doctoral Achievement Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Ghobadi is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Meet Dr. Hunponu-Wusu
Dr Linda Hunponu-Wusu (aka Dr Wusu) received her undergraduate degree from Barry University Miami Florida and obtained her DMD at University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 2006. Having grown up in Nigeria, West Africa she came here to the United States on a quest to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a dentist. Growing up as a child, she was frequently at the dentist and soon overcame her fear and made friends with her dentist who took the time to explain the necessary procedures. This is why she exudes a balance of compassion, great skill and believes very strongly in patient education. She is able to establish an essential and reliable level of trust and confidence in her advice regarding their dental care. She's a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Bergen County Dental Association. In a constant quest to give her patients the best care, she regularly takes continuing education courses including courses in cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, implant restoration and invisalign. Her goal is to help you attain, and maintain great oral health -a key factor in overall good health- and a beautiful smile you can be proud to have.
